The Bus is the City and couny of Honolulu's public transportation. It is one of the most comprehensive public transit systems you will find anywhere. The fare for the bus is $2.00 for adults with discounts available for seniors and students. 7-day and monthly passes are also available.

Comments: Went cruising around on the buses. Easy to catch, cheap and clean and friendly.
Fantastic and majorly cheap way to get around.

Comments: Loved it! I travelled everywhere with it. Even paid $2 to ride around the whole island via the north shore. However, you can't take a big piece of luggage to or from the airport unless it fits under a bus seat or on your lap, so pack lightly. The driver was nice enough to make an exception for me late at night when it was not crowded, so they can be reasonable about it, depending on the driver.
