Comments: This hostel is awesome, had a great time. staff is cool as ****, pretty clean, super fun. hawaii is awesome too. the only bad thing is the quiet hours, but that might be good for some.

Comments: What can i say? this hostel is so amazing. You get to meet so many people from around the world, have a drink, have a laugh and also have new friends for life. The staff are awesome, always friendly. The rooms are cleaned everyday and the atmosphere is just so relaxed. Total stangers will become your friends in a matter of minutes. Stay here, You won't regret it.

Comments: Great location. One block to Waikiki beach. Price is reasonable. My room could have been cleaned better. Good crowd and noise level tolerable. Just take same precautions with any place you visit with your valuables and always travel with ear plugs just in case your room mates are incosiderates.

Comments: This place is great! I had the best time and met some of the coolest people! The rooms are pretty clean and by the time I left I was friends with all of the staff. Some of the rooms were for partying, but I people seemed to be respectful of other's sleep. You can't get better than this place. Awesome!

Comments: ciao consiglio vivamente questo ostello. e' praticamente sulla famosa waikiki beach, pulito e sicuro. e' il posto ideale per riprendere fiato e per organizzarsi per eventuali spostamenti su altre isole e per poi andare sul north shore. il prezzo e' super. non aspettateti tanta festa ... l'ambiente e' molto allegro ma su alcune cose non si transige, tipo fumare o esagerare con l'alcool.... ho visto portare via un americano particolarmente sbronzo da ben 5, ripeto 5 agente in tenuta da sbarco ... ciao

Comments: I have some good and bad experiences with this hostel. The staff is nice and friendly. The hostel itself is acceptably clean and the air conditioner is very dirty. There were people partying in my dorm all night and they kept everyone else from sleeping. The staff was informed about this a few times but they just didn't care (I guess they'd rather lose good customers than the partying people.) So if you want to party and can't go to a club, this hostel is for you :)

Comments: we loved the beachside. twas awesome. very clean, thanks to our fabulous cleaner (the one with the glasses that cleans A401 everyday!). staff have also been very lovely to us. met loads of cool people thanks to your hostel all in all pretty groovy. thanks!

Comments: This hostel is one of the best I have stayed in the states. It is clean and safe and very reasonably priced ($25/night). The greatest strength this hostel offers are the amazing people you will meet here. Most the nights I stayed I was up until 3 or 4 in the morning talking with other travellers. If you are staying in Waikiki, this is a great location and you will likely meet a lot of interesting people along the way. Enjoy.

Comments: A block from the beach and they rent boards pretty cheap.Rent is very cheap but you can only stay if you're traveling.Don't stay at the hostel next door,lots of drugs and crazies,but beachside is very safe.

Comments: Compaired to allot of hostels in hawaii alone it's one of the cleanest and best kept hostels.The staff and managment are very attentive to their guests and try their hardest to accommadate their needs.It is the best Hostel in Hawaii!

Comments: Location is the best thing about this hostel as it is literally half a block from the beach and nightlife! The staff are friendly and helpful but rooms and facilities are not even basic-when we arrived we had to go and buy our own cutlery and tubs to eat food! The rooms were supposed to be cleaned each day though ours were dirty and werent cleaned for up to 4 days!! The lounge area is poor and shuts down at about 11pm though met some great people!! This is supposed to be the best hostel in hawaii so we would hate to see the hostel!!

Comments: In my short time at this hostel two people were asked to leave without any justification given by the hostel. Imagine my surprise when I too was asked to leave. The hostel has the potential to be abgreat one, drawing interesting people, but I found it to be one of the more unpleasent hostelling experiences of my life. Everything shuts down by 11 oclock as well.

Comments: I stayed in a 4 person women's dorm $37.I agree with others: beach close, very clean, very well organized. Staff REALLY helpful.Large room,complete lack of privacy. I am used to European dorms that often have a curtain between beds, making each bed a little private cubicle. Here, there was a curtain /partition rod but the curtain was missing. Also,pretty noisy, I could only sleep with my earplugs in place.No blankets available, believe me it can get chilly at night during 'Winter'. Still, great budget place

Comments: I stayed at Waikiki Beachside Hostel when I was 18 fresh out of high school in 2002 traveling for the first time with some girlfriends. We made so many new friends and had a great time. We never had to worry about the people we were staying with, they all were very trust worthy and great to get along with. I would recommend this hostel for any young travelers. Staff was great and place was clean.

Comments: The staff are friendly... the rooms clean... the place nice... all except for the fact that the lounge... dominated by 3 huge TV's... Is in a car park. Ide recomend it to anyone who wants to stay in this concrete part of Hawaii.
