Comments: It was definitely a Puna experience! This hostel is in downtown ecclectic Pahoa surrounded by a large garden with exotic vegetation and fruit trees. It is in deep and authentic Hawaiian. I could really relax here and it is close to the stores and the night life, it is close to the beaches, the lava viewing spot and the volcano and the bus comes thru here. The staff was friendly, it is cheap and I could have stayed longer and use their work exchange program I kept going to visit more of the island.
